ATDW
AUSTRALIAN TOURISM DATA WAREHOUSE (ATDW)
The Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) is the national platform for digital tourism listings.
For operators in Falls Creek and the greater Tourism North East region, having an ATDW listing ensures your business is visible across key local tourism websites including fallscreek.com.au, visitvictoria.com, victroiashighcountry.com.au and ridehighcountry.com.au.
An ATDW listing is essential for participation in regional marketing initiatives, including those led by Tourism North East (TNE) and the local Falls Creek Marketing Membership Program.
It allows your business to be featured in seasonal campaigns, digital promotions, and media opportunities, helping you reach more visitors and grow your presence in the market.
Maintaining an up-to-date ATDW listing is one of the simplest and most effective ways to connect with potential visitors and align with broader destination marketing efforts.
Please note that Falls Creek Alpine Resort does not manage or maintain ATDW listings for local operators. Instead, Tourism North East (TNE) provides dedicated support to help you set up, manage, and optimise your listing on the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW).
To get started, we recommend reviewing the following resources:
- ATDW Listing Page - tourismnortheast.com.au/industry-resources
- ATDW Fact Sheet – a quick overview of what’s involved
- Tutorial Video – a guide to creating your listing
TNE also offers free online and in-person workshops, including sessions focused on optimising your ATDW listing for better visibility and engagement.
Visit the ATDW Online Portal to create, renew or amend your listing.
The Falls Creek Marketing Membership Program is an additional opportunity for local operators to support and benefit from coordinated marketing efforts delivered via fallscreek.com.au, our official social media channels and paid promotional channels.
This program is designed to foster reciprocal support between Falls Creek Alpine Resort and our local business community, helping us collectively amplify the destination’s visibility and appeal.
To be eligible for the program, active members must hold a current ATDW listing.
However, you do not need to be a Marketing Member to be included in Tourism North East (TNE) initiatives, you simply need to maintain an up-to-date ATDW listing.
By becoming a Marketing Member, you’ll gain access to enhanced promotional opportunities, collaborative campaigns, and increased exposure across Falls Creek’s owned channels.
If you do not have a current membership and would like to be included, please contact the marketing team at [email protected]
Keeping your ATDW listing up to date and well-optimised is essential for increasing your visibility across key tourism platforms.
For Falls Creek operators, this means:
- Accurately showcasing your offerings
- Including high-quality images
- Highlighting seasonal or niche experiences (e.g. winter amenities, cycle-friendly services, alpine activities)
Listings are managed personally by operators via the
and updates are reviewed by Tourism North East (TNE) before going live. Once approved, your listing will automatically appear on the relevant tourism websites.
Please note: fallscreek.com.au only displays listings for active Falls Creek Marketing Members. If your listing isn’t showing, get in touch with the marketing team for assistance.
Optimised listings are more likely to be featured in regional campaigns, digital promotions, and visitor planning tools managed by TNE. TNE also offers free workshops and resources to help you improve your listing and stand out.
Maintaining an ATDW listing is a low-cost, high-impact way to promote your business across major tourism platforms. The annual listing fee is $295 (ex GST) for most businesses.
The benefits include:
- Visibility on key websites like visitvictoria.com, and ridehighcountry.com.au
- Eligibility for inclusion in regional marketing campaigns and programs like Ride High Country Preferred
- Access to promotional opportunities, media exposure, and visitor planning tools
- Support from Tourism North East (TNE) to optimise your listing and maximise its impact
Visit the ATDW Online Portal to create, renew or amend your listing.
Your ATDW listing doesn’t just promote your business, it also gives you access to free tools that help you reach more visitors. You can list events, special deals, and seasonal offers at no extra cost, and these will appear across major tourism platforms like fallscreek.com.au, visitvictoria.com, and ridehighcountry.com.au.
These inclusions are a powerful way to increase your visibility, attract new audiences, and showcase what’s happening at your business without additional fees.
Make sure to take full advantage of these features to maximise your reach.
