RESORT MASTERPLAN

During the third quarter of 2014, over 4,000 stakeholders, business operators, resort partners, club lodge members, visitors and investors got involved in the master plan process and had their say as to what should be protected or changed in Falls Creek.

The resort master plan received in-principle support from the Minister for Environment, Land Water and Planning and has been submitted to the Minister for Planning

A VISION FOR FALLS CREEK

The Masterplan 2016 is a long term vision for the Village and surrounds, and when finally approved by the Victorian Minister for the Environment, it will guide and direct town planning, investment, and operational management decision making in Falls Creek.

The plan is designed to increase year-round visitation, maximise utilisation of existing accommodation and improve the overall commercial viability of the whole resort. Key drivers of the plan include defined activity precincts, an integrated transport and access solution, no additional commercial bed numbers until dictated by demand and an overall increase in car parking spaces.
