4WD Track Access Arrangements Update

New 4WD Track Access Arrangements through Bogong Village

What has changed?

  • Access times through the 4WD track will only be permitted during the following times:
    • 6:00AM to 8:30AM and 4:30PM to 7:00PM.
    • The site is closed to access at all other times, except for emergency services response.
  • Approvals to access the track during these windows can be made here: access request form. Completion of this form is mandatory for all individuals seeking access from Dec 15th onwards. All previous access rights are null and void.
  • Access will be made available during the opening times to drivers with a 4WD (not AWD) vehicle for the following:
    • Falls Creek residents
    • Emergency Services personnel on emergency services business
    • Essential workers undertaking work activities at Falls Creek
  • Falls Creek Alpine Resort, where requested by the DoT, will providing information to verify vehicles, business operations, worker and resident status.
