The main commercial operations at Falls Creek and its Ski Lift operations are conducted by Falls Creek Ski Lifts PTY. LTD. The daily operations of the ski resort including ski lifts, grooming, snowmaking, snowsports lessons and more is undertaken by Falls Creek Ski Lifts, which is operated by Australian Alpine Enterprises under the ownership of Vail Resorts.

The Falls Creek Chamber of Commerce represents a growing number of approximately 50 area businesses. The Chamber is comprised of a diverse group of people who share a passion for Falls Creek and getting involved in the community. Member's businesses range from hotels, lodges, to restaurants, retail/rental stores and activity operators. The Falls Creek Chamber of Commerce is committed to building solid commercial partnerships with its members. The opportunities for involvement are as diverse as our member base. The Chamber is actively involved in advocacy for its members on issues relating to the resort, as well as through involvement with stakeholder committees and cooperative marketing efforts in conjunction with Falls Creek Resort Management and Falls Creek Ski Lifts. The Falls Creek Chamber of Commerce also owns and operates Falls Creek Central Reservations, a booking service for all properties on the mountain.

Established in 2003, the Falls Creek Alpine Association is a not-for-profit organisation representing ratepayers at Falls Creek. FCAA members include ski clubs, apartment owners, commercial operators, and individuals. The FCAA enables members to be informed about Falls Creek and the Victorian alpine sector more broadly and to be part of and support the Falls Creek community and the region.
As a member of the Falls Creek Stakeholder Committee (SCC), FCAA engages directly with Alpine Resorts Victoria (ARV) on a regular basis to provide advice relating to operational and strategic matters affecting the resort.
FCAA is also represented on the broader industry advocate groups, the Victorian Snowsports Association (VSA) comprising all ratepayer associations and the Alpine Resorts Industry Advisory Group (ARIAG) which represents the broader industry to government and its portfolio agencies.
